If you think you want to work at creating digital motion art, making films or video productions, animating by combining digital graphics and / or puppets, work with lights and sound and more... you may want to understand the stuff of multimedia.

There is a world of multimedia to experience on the web. For some lucky folk, there is a lot to consume right at our fingertips (iOS devices such as smart phones, pods and notebooks), in our homes or in our schools, perhaps on our library computers, which in itself is a form of multimedia = eLearning.

1 - Stop motion paper animation "The History of Typography"

2 - Sita Sings the Blues Trailer Actually, it gets much better from here. Go see the work of Nina Paley!

3 - My favorite to share: Muto
MUTO a wall-painted animation by BLU from blu on Vimeo.

4 - Magical work of Brian Ziffer.

5 - The multimedia work of Systemsoular and Naoism (which is Brian and others). One of their concepts was NAOISM. This is a Flash GUI.

6 - The game art and multimedia work of Chuck W. Lapp Blog Portfolio may be more your style and interest.

7 - The New Jersey History Partnership Project. I designed this and added a component of interactive "game" to learn history with. This is for teachers in the State of NJ, or anyone interested in learning some NJ related history. I used Flash, Illustrator, video content, audio content, photography. This is a very good sample of mixed or multimedia for learning and pleasure. Teachers can download a PDF.

8 - Me. Here you can have a look at some stills of motion work, 3D modelling, and film work I have done in the past. I am working on new projects as well, currently finishing up a feature film with many other Vermont filmmakers and starting an animated film for kids called "The Tales of Penny & Black".
